About Us
How we met...
Nate & Mary met at Rose-Hulman, where they both attended college. Mary was friends with Nate's roomate and both of them were part of the pre-med club. They became friends suffering through medical school applications together, and before either of them really knew it, they were dating!
How he proposed
Now living in Cincinnati for residency, Nate & Mary went back to Rose-Hulman for a day to visit the old campus and reminisce. As they circled Speed Lake, they stopped on the dock across from the White Chapel and Mary's old dormitory, Percopo. Nate pointed at Percopo and said "remember one night when I dropped you off and I told you 'The more I say goodnight the harder it is to let you go'? Well, it's still hard to let you go" and he got down on one knee and proposed!

It is also located on Fountain Square, where there is (you guessed it) a beautiful fountain and many local shops & restaurants. Nate & Mary have secured a block of hotel rooms which can be reserved at a group rate here. On-site parking is available for $21 daily. Nate & Mary will be providing free transportation to & from the wedding from the Westin (PARTY BUS!!!).

Pyramid Hill is an outdoor sculpture park and art gallery located just north of Cincinnati. Founded on 40 acres of land in 1997, the park has now grown to 300+ acres of hills, gardens, & lakes in which the Pyramid Hill sculpture collection is scattered. The grounds also contain the Ancient Sculpture Museum, containing antiquities dating back to 1550 BCE. Visit pyramidhill.org for more information.
Wedding guests have free access to the park on the day of our wedding. Come any time before the wedding starts to check out the park!
Our wedding ceremony will be held at the amphitheater, marked with a star below. The reception will be held at the pavilion, marked with the gazebo icon below. Click here to view the entire Pyramid Hill map.
Transportation
There will be parking at the park & "art carts" (golf carts) available to transport guests to the ceremony site from the parking lots.
For those staying at the Westin Cincinnati downtown, there will be a party bus to transport guests to the venue; it will leave the Westin at 3:30 PM and return to the Westin at 9:30 PM.
